Geasure Medical, 'taking on challenges bravely'!

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Medical Products Administration announced the shortlisted units for the second batch of the 'Challenge and Lead' initiative for innovation tasks in biomedical materials. Changzhou Jishi Medical Device Co., Ltd., a company based in Xituchu Lake, successfully made it onto the list for the 'nano-hydroxyapatite' task under the 'inorganic non-metallic materials' category, leveraging its deep technical accumulation and outstanding innovative capabilities in high-end biomedical materials. It is one of only two companies in the city and the sole company from Wujin District to make the cut.
This initiative focuses on key areas such as polymer materials, metal materials, and inorganic non-metallic materials, aiming to select and gather a number of units that master core technologies and have strong innovation capabilities to concentrate on breakthroughs. The goal is to achieve significant advancements in biomedically applicable materials that are technologically advanced, innovative, and have high clinical value.

Aimed at accelerating the research, production, and application of biomedical materials in our country, promoting collaborative innovation and breakthroughs along the entire supply chain of biomedical materials, and better supporting the high-quality development of the medical device industry.

Nano-hydroxyapatite is the main inorganic component of human bones and teeth. Due to its excellent biocompatibility, osteoconductivity, and osteoinductivity, it is widely used in orthopedic, dental, and maxillofacial surgery fields for implantable medical devices, bone repair materials, and tissue engineering scaffolds. The nanohydroxyapatite material project unveiled by Changzhou Jishuo Medical aims to overcome key technological challenges in the material preparation process.

As a national-level specialized and innovative small giant enterprise, Jishuo Medical focuses on the research, development, production, and sales of high-performance orthopedic medical devices.

Up to now, over 70 authorized patents have been obtained, including more than 20 invention patents. A total of 42 certificates for Class II and Class III medical devices have been acquired. The 'Titanium Coated Intervertebral Fusion Device System' has been recognized as an innovative product of Changzhou manufacturing; the 'Intervertebral Fusion Device System' and 'Spinous Process Fixation System' have passed the new product sample appraisal in Jiangsu Province and have been included in the directory of new technologies and products for key promotion in the province.

This entry marks the company's commitment to accelerating the research and industrialization of nanohydroxyapatite materials under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Medical Products Administration. By collaborating with upstream and downstream units in the industry chain and clinical institutions, the company aims to achieve precise control and optimization of the material's composition, structure, and performance. This effort is intended to enhance the material's efficacy in bone formation and vascularization during clinical applications, meeting the high standards and stringent requirements for core raw materials in advanced medical devices. The goal is to achieve technological breakthroughs and The transformation and application of research results .as soon as possible, contributing to the self-reliance of China's advanced medical devices and the health and well-being of its people.
